Case 1

Mrs Move is living in a 4 bedroom house with large garden and double garage and wants to move into a 1 bedroom flat. Her children have left home and she is entering a retirement flat. She needs to dispose of some contents due to the downsizing of property, and due to ill health she needs a packing service to be carried out.

One of her children has used the estimator on the web page and has been given a price for £550.00 + VAT  for the move and has telephoned KGB for a free quote as the move is not quite straight forward.

The client at the quotation stage is given a complimentary checklist to act as a reminder to deal with certain items before removal date.

KGB after telephone conversation do a free no obligation quotation and discuss clients arrangements. 20 items of furniture and the garden tools and furniture have been identified as not required and it has been arranged for KGB to remove these to their unit and store until the next local auctions.

With a full packing service for half a day a price for £600 + VAT given has been additionally added for the auction and packing service.

Storage is calculated at £50.00 per week for the contents that have been stored ready for auction. On agreement with the client it is agreed to delay invoice for storage and removal of unwanted contents to aid any financial burden to her at this point.

Packaging of contents is then carried out on the Thursday afternoon by uniformed KGB staff and the move to retirement flat is carried out successfully on the Friday morning.

Case 2

Mrs Paint an interior designer is carrying out a project whereby she is fitting out a show home with furniture, curtains and pictures.

It is agreed with Mrs Paint that she can get the flat pack furniture delivered to the KGB unit and will be charged a mean average for the storage used up to the time of removal of flat pack contents.

The team at KGB unit then remove items to the building site with health and safety boots and helmets. The team then position units and furniture in the correct rooms according to the plans / designers needs.

The cardboard and packaging are also removed for correct disposal.
